I appreciate the lunch invite and that you bought. That's awesome, but going into ignore mode ten minutes after we sat down is so not cool.
A) You could've bought your book last week and read everything and not gotten down to one hour before three chapters had to be read.
B) You could've chosen not to invite me to lunch. That would've been fine. Have all the time to yourself for your late reading.
C) You could've waited FIVE FUCKING MINUTES FOR ME TO FINISH MY DRINK AND BE ON MY WAY!
Instead, you open a book, and it's like I'm not even there. I'm just gone.
