I've never had the opportunity to indulge my crushes in the past. The system has been: crush, watch from afar, fantasize a bit, let go and move on. This has been a good system. I tend to stick to it.
Recently, I've been able to indulge in a crush. It's been relatively nice. There has been cuddling and whatnot. However, I'm beginning to wonder if I like it better the other way.
At least before, there was never any hope of anything happen. Now, with the assumption that the other party reciprocates the crush, there is the chance that he will be a complete asshole and make me wish I had watched from afar, fantasized a bit, let go and moved on.
